Monday, December 2nd – Following a weekend in which New York City and the world celebrated Shirley Chisholm’s centennial birthday, SCP Director Dr. Zinga A. Fraser spoke with Dr. Julianne Malveax on her WPFW radio show Malveax!
During the interview, Dr. Malveaux reflected on her interactions with Chisholm when they both served on the National Political Congress of Black Women (an organization Chisholm co-founded). Dr. Fraser discussed insights as the leading scholar of the Congresswoman’s life and legacy as well as her new book Shirley Chisholm in Her Own Words: Speeches and Writings.
