On August 18th 1920, the 19th Amendment of the Constitution was ratified. Tomorrow, Dr. Zinga A. Fraser, the Director of the Chisholm Project will be speaking at the 100th Anniversary Celebration of Women’s Right to Vote.
Dr. Fraser will be speaking on the power of Black Women’s Politics and the role of Black women in strengthening, preserving and innovating the democratic process.
The event will also recognize North Carolina Lt. Gubernatorial nominee Yvonne Lewis Holley. The virtual conference will begin at 8pm.
